Author
Kamimura Y, et al., (1994)

These authors replicated the study of Kues (1985), who found corneal abnormalities in monkeys exposed to 2450 MHz for 4 hours, with one major change. Kamimura and colleagues carried out their experiment without anaesthetizing the monkeys. They did not find any corneal problems, and postulate that the changes seen by Kues et al. may have been related to the non-physiological conditions the latter authors used.

There were other differences in the procedures used from that employed by Kues et al. The authors used only one exposure rather than several; only 5 monkeys were exposed; and the power densities were higher (43 mW/cm² rather that 20 - 30 mW/cm²).
