This paper is a report of an informal, uncontrolled survey of 40 individuals who responded to a notice in a medical journal and in the media, soliciting responses from people who felt they had symptoms associated with use of a mobile phone. The participants mainly complained of symptoms such as a burning feeling or a dull ache in the cranial region. The
self-selection of the subjects in this report would tend to bias the
results. As the author states: "Laboratory studies should include
double-blind testing of patients to confirm if RFR is causative of
their symptoms". |
