These authors have also reported on the effect of RFR from mobile phones on the vestibular function of the ear (Pau et al., 2005). In the present study the auditory brain stem reflexes of 12 healthy persons with normal hearing were tested before, during and after a 3-minute exposure to RFR at 889.6 MHz frequency (SAR 1.9 W/kg). Neither pulsed nor continuous RFR had any impact on the brain stem reflexes.
